Graduating from Jacksonville State University, I first came to Georgia to work a for a county school system as an eighth grade teacher. It was during my first year of teaching that I was mobilized to go flight school for United States Army. After graduating from flight school, I relocated back to the Atlanta area and flew out of Dobbins Air Force Base with my Army unit for several years as a reservist. While in the reserves, I became a police officer with Fulton County Police Department. I loved the job, my wife wasn't crazy about it so after a couple of years I transferred over to the fire department. I stayed at the fire department for some time before I felt the need to go into corporate America in a sales position. Wow! What a change, but it was a good change. Since I always had to stay busy doing something, I stumbled into real estate. That's when I found my passion!! I started buying and renovating houses, and was very good at it. I eventually left corporate America to do it full time. Over a period of five years, I purchased and renovated over 250 houses! When the market changed in 2008, I became a full time real estate agent.
It was only after I became a real estate agent representing buyers and sellers that I realized that my previous years of experience was the perfect stepping stone for me to be the best agent possible for my clients. I know the government language.....I know sales.....I know how to renovate properties.....I know how to buy properties....I know how to sell properties. What better way to help someone buy or sell a home with this type of experience! It is hard to find someone with this type of background. And I use every bit of this experience to help my client to buy or sell their home!
